FLASHBACK: The crew at Complete Staff Solutions, Clarence Valley Business Excellence Awards winners 2012.

Clarence Valley businesses’ excellent adventure

THERE is no mincing of words when the term "excellence" is involved. It's the very best of something and in the case of tonight's awards ceremony it's businesses that are being acknowledged and celebrated for their excellence.

The aim of the Clarence Valley Business Excellence Awards is to foster pride in our business community and showcase the quality of services available in this area, and small business can always do with a pat on the back given some of the hoops and hurdles they have to navigate while trying to survive in today's marketplace.

Initiated by Clarence Valley Council in partnership with our respective chambers of commerce, the awards have democracy at their forefront with a broad range of categories for every type and size of business enterprise to enter.

Today the awards are overseen by a committee comprised of business community representatives and this year, there is an outstanding line-up of worthy finalists, some of whom you can read a little more about on these pages.

Tonight's dinner for a winner is being held at the Yamba Bowling Club and will see the business community don their formal frocks and black ties while they enjoy the gala affair that kicks off with pre-dinner drinks followed by a three-course menu and entertainment. Of course, they will also find out first-hand who the most excellent operators in the Clarence are.

Good luck to all our finalists.
