Tucabia-Copmanhurst's Matt Pigg and GDSC Easts' Doug Harris have both been named to take on Ballina in round two of the Country Shield cricket knockout at Ellem Oval this Sunday.

Both are experienced campaigners at Clarence Valley representative level. But Pigg, a former Clarence Valley captain, had stood back from representative commitments in recent times.

Due to the unavailability of Harris, Pigg was recalled to the side for the commanding seven-wicket win against Coffs Colts in round one, and conceded just 18 runs off his 10 overs.

Selectors have brought Harris back whilst retaining Pigg in an otherwise unchanged squad, naming Brandon Honeybrook as 13th man.

CRCA Country Shield team to play Ballina: Bob Mckenzie (c), Jordan Elliott, Tim Tilse, Brendan Cleaver, Matt Pigg, Doug Harris, Tom Kroehnert, Luke Cox, Brad Chard, Matt Dougherty, Brayden Pardoe, Nathan Blanch, Brandon Honeybrook (13th).
