Coffs shopper eyes Grafton specials

TONIA Fleming has done the unthinkable.

She has come from Coffs Harbour to Grafton to shop.

While many Grafton ladies would gasp at the mere though of this, Tonia loves the old-fashioned feel of the main street.

“We just don't have this street shopping in Coffs.

“You have to either go to the Plaza or the Mall and they aren't really all that inviting,” Tonia said.

“Myself and a couple of girlfriends come up here about once a month to do some serious damage.

“I think you just get used to what you have, so you guys go to Coffs and we come up here for a bit of a change,” she said.

Tonia has lived in Coffs Harbour for about eight and a half years, and hasn't looked back.

“I came down from the Gold Coast and I love it.

“Most of my friends now live in Coffs, in fact, the girlfriend I am here with today, I went to primary school with up the coast,” Tonia said.
