Colin keen to travel

HAVING lived in the Clarence Valley area most of his life, Colin Sutherland is keen to head north for a holiday to explore the rest of the countryside.

“I haven’t really travelled a lot so I would like to head up north and have a look around because I hear there are a lot of nice places that way,” he said.

Born and raised in Kyogle, the family man moved to Grafton 16 years ago to be closer to his brothers and sisters.

“Most of my family is here and there are so many friendly people around the place so I made the move,” Colin said.

In his spare time Colin likes to fish at Iluka and fix the gardens around his home.

He said his biggest catch was a bream that weighed in at a couple of kilograms.

In between fishing with his nephew, Colin said he spends the bulk of his time pottering around the garden and taking walks along the river to keep himself fit.
