Clarence Valley Council general manager Scott Greensill said the council had been invited to apply to the NSW Industrial Relations for the 2016 and 2017 local public holidays or event days, but was required to seek public comment first.

Ramornie Races: Wednesday, July 13, 1-5pm

Grafton Cup: Thursday, July 14, 1-5pm

Jacaranda Thursday: Thursday, November 3, 1-5pm

2017 Maclean Show: not yet allocated

Ramornie Races: Wednesday, July 12, 1-5pm

Grafton Cup: Thursday, July 13, 1-5pm

Jacaranda Thursday: Thursday, November 2, 1-5pm
