Country Championship racing postponed

DUE to expected extreme heat conditions, the racing action on Sunday, including the Country Championship Qualifier has been postponed until Monday.

However, if you're still looking for some hot action on Sunday, the Blues Brews and Barbecues event will still go ahead as planned at the Clarence River Jockey CLub.

With great music including headline act Phil Emmanuel, an assortment of craft beer and gourmet food and free kids entertainment, gates will open at noon with the entertainment starting at 12.30.

For the racing lovers, you won't miss out, as the rescheduled races with start at 3.25 on Monday afternoon.

The Country Championship Qualifier will be held at 5.55pm, so you can finish work and slip down to the track to see some of the best horses go around.

The Monday race meeting will be free entry, with free entry to the members area for all.
