Editorial - Thursday,October 23: Crazy to miss sale days

THERE can never be too many reasons to shop locally and support local businesses.

It has been a theme for us here at The Daily Examiner through 2014, highlighted by the Our Valley campaign in August.

The message remains the same no matter the time of year - shopping locally helps businesses and creates jobs for local people.

Crazy Day is another great reason to get your cash or credit card out and give the Clarence Valley economy an important boost.

What better excuse could there be to get out in the spring sunshine as the jacarandas bloom and start the Christmas shopping a few weeks early.

There is always a fun atmosphere around the CBD for Crazy Day, with music filling the streets and bargains to put a smile on anyone's face.

Retailers and their offerings will be spilling out of the shops and onto the footpath to give the day a unique look and feel.

You don't need to dress up to be involved - but the more the merrier if you want to - just come into the Prince St/Shoppingworld precinct and get a bargain you'd be crazy to miss out on.
