A: SOUTH GRAFTON

FEBRUARY 8: Overnight a VW Tiguan was stolen off the street in Beacon Hill, part of Sydney's northern beaches area.

About 8.30am on Thursday, February 11, the vehicle was seen driving north on the Pacific Highway, Glenugie. Police followed the vehicle until it stopped at a South Grafton service station. Police will allege a 32yo Brookvale man was driving the vehicle, and stole it after seeing it parked with the keys in it. He was charged with stealing the vehicle and was refused bail to appear in Manly Court on February 22.

B: GRAFTON

FEBRUARY 12: About 6pm a 25yo Grafton woman was at a premises in Prince Street with friends and family. Police allege a minor argument began, and the woman then slapped a male friend on the face before kicking him numerous times. The woman herself contacted police and confessed to assaulting the victim. When police arrived she was arrested and will appear at Grafton Local Court on March 7.

C: GRAFTON

FEBRUARY 13: On Saturday a family in South Grafton were hosting a 21st birthday party. During the evening police will allege a number of people attended the event who weren't invited. One of these people, a 19yo Grafton man, became involved in a heated argument with another male party-goer. When a female approached the man, he punched her to the head and knocked her out. A brawl ensued and the man left the party. He was spoken to in Powell Street the following evening and arrested. He will appear at Grafton Local Court on March 14 charged with assault.

D: MACLEAN

FEBRUARY 15: About 5.45pm on Monday a 28yo Maclean man was at a house in Maclean when an argument occurred with his partner. Police will allege the man grabbed the victim around the throat and lifted her off the ground, pushed her over onto the ground, threw a bag striking her in the hand, and pushed her over on the ground a second time causing a head injury. Police arrived a short time later and the man was arrested. An AVO was taken out and the man was charged with four assault matters. He will appear in Maclean Court.

E: TOWNSEND

FEBRUARY 16: About 7.45pm police were patrolling the Townsend area and allegedly observed a 44yo man driving in Jubilee Street. Police recognised the man as having a suspended licence and having been caught driving on four separate occasions whilst suspended during February. He was arrested and taken to Maclean Police Station and charged with driving whilst his licence was suspended. He will appear at Maclean Local Court on April 12.
