Daisy in the Big City: Famous Bundy pup a hit at dog show
BUNDY'S Insta-famous pooch Daisy had a ball meeting fans and waddling down the red carpet at the Dog Lovers Show in Brisbane.
The loveable dachshund was invited to strut her stuff and put on a show for the Insta-Pooch segment of the show this month.
Owner Natalie Sweetapple said she was impressed with the pup's performance.
"She was actually amazing - dachshunds are usually quite overexcited and barky and she, naturally, is a bit like that at home but as soon as she went to the show she was like a different dog," Ms Sweetapple said.
She explained the glamour of the event for social-media sensations such as Daisy, who has more than 30,000 followers on Instagram.
"They get to walk the red carpet, they sit on a throne and get interviewed for a few minutes and then people can line up and get their photo with them," she said.
Daisy and Ms Sweetapple were in for a treat when they ran into another star during the weekend: Aussie veterinarian and TV personality Dr Harry Cooper.
"Just after she got off the stage he was just walking through the crowd and we were like 'oh my goodness'," she said.
"I quickly asked him if he would hold Daisy for a photo and he did. He was really lovely."
