GIVE Daley Durrant the outdoors any day.
This 28-year-old former Gold Coaster turned Clarence Valley bloke is all about kicking back, playing sport and exploring what Mother Nature has to offer.
With a smile to kill and an infectious personality, Daley is looking for the perfect girl to add to the equation.
So when his parents suggested applying for the reality television show When Love Comes to Town, Daley was all ears.
"Mum and dad said they had signed me up and when they explained it to me I thought it sounded pretty good," he said.
Daley said he had a few relationships over the years, but was rarely one to go out and search for Miss Right.
"I've always been one to hang with my mates but now most of my mates are married or having kids and I'm sort of the odd one out," Daley said.
Just who he is looking for is a mystery, even to him, but he said a down-to-earth girl would always catch his attention.
"I don't really have a specific type, just as long as they're genuine, natural and outgoing," he said.
"I guess I do like dark hair and tanned skin - but not orange."
Daley is a keen football player and enjoys cricket, surfing and exploring new places, which is fitting when he explained to The Daily Examiner his perfect first date would be a "mystery tour".
"I would do something different to a meal or a movie, and there are so many wicked places around this area where you could go and really get to know someone without having everyone else around," he said.
Daley goes into a pool of nominees in the running to become one of the bachelors featured on the new television series.
