Dancing passion blooms for teenager

WHILE Nadia Vickery had humble beginnings as a dancer, she now studies dance full time at Melbourne's Dance World.

Nadia began her dance training when she was quiet small, but like the majority of three-year-old aspiring ballerinas, she soon gave it away.

She went back to her dancing when she was 14 and has not looked back as she re-discovered her passion.

“I absolutely love it. The hours are long and I don't have much spare time but it is all worth it just to be able to dance six days a week,” Nadia said.

This late starter, in terms of dance training, completed her schooling at Grafton High School and is now studying a Diploma in Dance Techniques so she can share her passion with as many people as possible.
