Stacey Landrigan and her mum Denise Turner will operate their Hop, Skip & Jump Family Day Care Centre from the unit their beloved Nan, Sally Albert, lived in until she passed away after a battle with cancer in May.

"My nan was a very generous and kind lady who always went without so that others wouldn't have to," Mrs Landrigan said.

"Nan lived in a unit at the back of my mother and father's house in Westlawn. It is a unit that dad built for her in the 80s.

"It was always a happy place to visit. Nan was always laughing and making the best of everything.

"Since losing my nan, mum and I have been working towards making her home a happy place to visit again. Family day care was the answer."

Mrs Landrigan said there were still places available at the centre, which is able to look after four children each week day from 8am to 5.30pm.
