Daytime meeting

MANY thanks for your front page coverage and the editorial about Wednesday night's capacity crowd meeting of residents who have concerns about the possible consequences of coal seam gas mining in our area.   The possible adverse ramifications of this new industry are of great concern to very many older community members who wonder what sort of world our grandchildren will inherit under our watch.   However, many older residents don't drive their cars after dark so I believe it would be extremely useful to hold a daytime meeting on this most important issue as we have so many older community members who have chosen to make their homes in this most beautiful region.   All the best in the future you choose for your family.   Harry Johnson, Iluka
