Despite siege police still find time for drug bust

WHILE plenty of police resources remain tied up with the Dalley Street siege in Lismore, they still managed to fine time for a drug bust in Casino.

Officers from the Target Action Group today executed four search warrants in Casino. This was in regards to an ongoing investigation into drug supply.

During the search warrants methyl-amphetamine, cannabis and cannabis seeds were located and seized.

A woman, 44, was arrested and charged with supplying prohibited drug and possessing prohibited drugs. She is to appear at Casino Local Court on April 6.

Another woman and two men in their 20s will also be charged with possessing prohibited drugs.
