Restoration work this week causing detour at McFarlane

MCFARLANE Bridge near Maclean will be closed for restoration work this week.

The bridge will be closed to traffic today and tomorrow from 9.30am-2.30pm, weather permitting.

It will close again next Sunday from 6.30am to 4.30pm.

The closure will take place so the old timber bridge decking can be replaced with new timber decking.

A detour will be in place via South Arm and South Arm School Rds at Brushgrove and then the Pacific Hwy to Maclean during the closures.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their journey as the detour is expected to add about 30 minutes to travel times.
