Dining strategy is on chamber menu

CHAMBER of Commerce members will come together tomorrow to discuss a range of issues affecting the community and hear from guest speakers Peter Birch and Andrew Higgs.

Mr Birch will be presenting council’s draft outdoor dining policy and answering any questions that businesses or customers may have. The meeting will allow businesses the opportunity to have their input into the development before it moves into its final stages.

The presentation will be made at Vines starting at 3pm tomorrow.

Chamber of Commerce members will meet shortly after the presentation to discuss items on the agenda, including council’s draft Local Environment Plan, the main street strategy, the draft outdoor dining policy and they will hear from Mr Higgs, representing the NSW Business Chamber.

Mr Higgs will talk about the local Chamber Alliance Partner Program and answer any questions.

As usual the City Centre Traders’ Report and Executive Officer’s Report will be tabled for discussion.

The meeting will be held at the Caringa Enterprises Inc. meeting rooms and will start at 5.30pm sharp.
