Dirt bikers on a high

FUTURE champions of the track – some as young as four – will be on display tomorrow when Maclean Dirt Bike Club hosts round two of its championship series.

Gardiners Road, Townsend, will be the venue for the fast-paced fun on wheels, with registration to start at 6.30am.

Rider sign-on and scrutineering takes place until 8.15am, with practice under way at 9am.

The throttle will be wide open as the riders take to the track for non-stop action.

Round one of the series proved a hit, with record numbers continuing to flock to the club.

New members are welcome at the club and, with four more rounds to come this year, there promises to be some exciting action ahead.

Spectator entry is free and canteen facilities will be available.
