'Disabled' IS bomber kills 48

A DISGUISE of being a disabled police officer allowed a suicide bomber to blow himself up at a gathering of Yemeni security officers in Aden on Sunday, killing 48 people and wounding dozens of others, Yemeni officials said. Islamic State named the attacker and published a photograph of him smiling with a rifle at his side and wearing an explosive vest. It was the second attack this month to kill scores of security forces near a military base in Aden. This attack occurred as hundreds of Yemeni security forces staff gathered to receive their pay.
