Lani Brennan will visit for Valley's domestic violence forum

COMMISSIONER for Victim's Rights representative Lani Brennan will speak at a Grafton forum on domestic violence on Friday.

The Grafton Domestic and Family Violence committee's annual forum is open to all community services providers in the region.

As keynote speaker, Ms Brennan will share her journey from victim to survivor after a relationship with a young man from her community trapped her in a situation that she almost didn't survive.

A presentation on available victim services is expected to be followed by a Q and A session.

The forum will be held from 12-2.30pm tomorrow at the Grafton District Services Club, and the $20 fee includes lunch.

Attendance can be registered via email at gdfvlc@gmail.com. Tickets will also be available at the door.

For inquiries, phone 6642 4955.
