Donna home on a winning high

AFTER winning her sixth professional title the previous weekend, squash champ Donna Urquhart headed home for a little well-earned R&R.

“It was certainly nice to come home with a win under your belt,” Donna said yesterday as she headed back to Brisbane.

“It’s a lot easier to kick back when you’re on a high from a good win.”

It’s the first title Urquhart has won since September when she downed local favourite Joshna Chinappa to take the Indian Challenger women’s squash tournament in Chennai.

The win has been coming for a while as Urquhart has been racking up good wins over top-ranked players and had a finals appearance the week before.
