PEPPERS Pier Resort, Hervey Bay is celebrating its induction to the Hall of Fame at the 2011 Fraser Coast Tourism Awards, for the second time.

Entry to the Hall of Fame is only awarded to operators who have won a category consecutively for three years.

Peppers has achieved this twice; first in 2010 as a result of their triple win for best conference facilities and again at this month's 2011 tourism awards after they were presented with the best prestige accommodation accolade for the third time.

Peppers general manager, Andrew Knox said: "I am extremely proud of the team we have here at Peppers and to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for a second time is a huge honour."

To celebrate the double Hall of Fame win, Peppers Pier Resort is offering a special 20% saving on minimum two night stays from $196 per night in a 1 bedroom apartment.

It is easy to see why the resort achieved its latest prestige award category win with magnificent leisure facilities onsite including Spa Botanica day spa; two lagoon pools and a health club; relaxed casual dining in the Bayswater Bistro & Bar with magnificent views over the beach and historic Urangan Pier and superbly appointed one, two and three bedroom suites all featuring spa bath and balcony, most offering views over Hervey Bay and Fraser Island.

The conference accolade is also well deserved with the property holding an average of 180 conferences a year, ensuring that each conference experience is uniquely tailored to each group supported by the award winning conference team.

Peppers sister property, Mantra Hervey Bay is also a dual Hall of Fame recipient having won for the same categories previously.
