Dress to be a Cup winner
THE SECRET to being the most stylish lady on Melbourne Cup Day, according to vintage fashion boutique owner Anne Bootch, is finding a unique garment you feel expresses yourself.
"Don't be afraid to be yourself and don't be afraid to look a little crazy," said Ms Bootch.
Ms Bootch will be putting on a fashion show at the Clarence River Jockey Club today and selling outfits from her shop Nice Rack.
All proceeds from the event will help pay for new equipment at Grafton Base Hospital.
The two-course lunch starts at noon, with the fashion parade at 1pm.
Tickets are $35 and will be available at the door.
