Drugs seized by police

A LARGE amount of cash, along with cannabis and amphetamines, were seized by police early yesterday morning after a car was stopped in Ryan Street, South Grafton.

At 12.30am a search was carried out and police uncovered a sizeable amount of hidden cash and quantities of cannabis and amphetamines.

The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Grafton Police Station and charged with possession of illegal substances.

Police are investigating the case and a date for the man's court appearance is yet to be set.
