NO CHANGE: Elders real estate principal Dave Dart the business is staying in Grafton.

ALARMED to hear a radio news report announcing the closure of his business and it's relocation to Dorrigo, principal of real estate at Elders Grafton Dave Dart wants to set the record straight.

Contrary to an ABC North Coast report aired yesterday morning, Mr Dart said Elders Real Estate and Insurance was still operating from its Grafton office as per normal.

"There will be no change whatsoever and no jobs will be lost," he said.

"Actually we're looking for a receptionist."

However he confirmed that Elders Limited, responsible for livestock sales and rural banking, would no longer operate from Grafton.

"Insurance and real estate are separate and I'd just like to clarify the fact," Mr Dart said.
