Engine failure forces emergency landing


ENGINE failure forced a plane to make an emergency landing at Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome yesterday.

A Newcastle Fire Communications spokesman said police, paramedics, SES and fire fighters were called to the aerodrome about 3.30pm as a precaution.

The plane managed to land safely without incident.
