Everything goes swimmingly at the Gulmarrad Public carnival

IT WAS a terrific day at the Maclean Pool on Friday, February 12, when Gulmarrad Public School held its annual K-6 swimming carnival.

With something for everyone the program featured main events for juniors and seniors as well as novelty races and games for infants including the popular inflatable water-slide.

With an array of chants our newly elected sports leaders stepped up to the challenge of their first carnival by encouraging their houses to cheer on all competitors.

Thank you to the many parents, grandparents and carers who came along to support their children with a special thanks to the Maclean High School students who assisted with timekeeping, Mr Stanger for his organisation of the day and to all staff for their great efforts. Well done everyone.
