Autopsy findings have all but confirmed a police view that the tragic deaths of three Biddeston family members was a murder-suicide.

Darling Downs district officer Detective Inspector Dave Isherwood said the investigation was being conducted just as any other murder investigation would be.

"The variance here is the perpetrator is deceased himself."

"At this point in time, forensic evidence reveals that the conclusion that was first thought by the media and police appears to be correct."
