The Family Tree to launch new album this Sunday

LOWER River band, Rob Imeson and The Family Tree, will bringing its various instruments, swag of songs, and brand new album "Mountains of Memories" to the Harwood Hotel this Sunday.

Eighteen months of travelling around Australia singing at festivals, house concerts, and caravan parks has given birth to the new album, the family bands' third in five years.

Produced by Roger Corbett from well-known Aussie band, The Bushwackers, The Family Tree laid down a mixed bag of original songs, and heartfelt covers in an album that is sure to warm even the coldest heart.

The single, "The Never, Never", a tribute to family time spent at Mataranka in the NT, has been nominated for a Golden Guitar award at next year's Tamworth Country Music Festival. It has received wide radio airplay all around Australia and has even reached the airwaves of the UK thanks to the BBC.

Rob, Amy and kids have been busy of late, recently supporting Sara Storer on her northern NSW tour. They will be joined this Sunday by grandparents Paul and Anne Commerford where The Family Tree will transform into a seven-piece, three-generational family band, sure to make you smile and finish your weekend in the best possible way. This Sunday afternoon, come to the Harwood Hotel and say "G'day" to Paul, Anne, Amy, Rob, Joel, Molly, and Charlie.
