Fashion show fundraiser for festival queens

WITH less than two months to go to the Jacaranda Festival, the festival queens have been well and truly in fundraising action - but there's still plenty more to come in the weeks ahead.

You can support the queens this weekend by heading to the Spring Fashion Show.

Show organiser Tim Ellem, from Fashion 4 Men, said there would be plenty to see with 10 fashion houses showcasing their wares at the event.

"It's all spring fashion that's in stores now and ready to purchase," he said.

"There's everything from ladies sleepwear right through to formal bridal wear."

Mr Ellem said there would be clothes for the blokes as well, with More 4 Men and Low Pressure Surf showing some of their designs.

"Supper is provided and I Scream will be there," he said.

"Supper is provided by the Cathedral Guild ladies, and part of the ticket price is returned to the cathedral.

"It's a great social night out with a great atmosphere. It will only go for about two hours so it won't be too late and drag on."
