Fast 4 hits courts at Junction Hill

TENNIS: Much like Twenty20 did for cricket, the Fast 4 format is revolutionising the way tennis is played.

Junction Hill Tennis Club is reaping the benefits of the new fast-paced, engaging format in their new Evolution Series which continues this weekend.

This Sunday marks the first of the doubles events using the Fast 4 format. With sudden death games, play the lets on the serve and different format for the tiebreaker - Fast 4 breathes new life into the doubles arena.

Players can enter with a partner or we can find you a partner on the day. Play is in divisions from Division 1 and 2 for adults and juniors, Division 3 using the green modified ball, Division 4 using the orange ball and Division 5 red ball.

If you would like to play just text Darren on 0419 831 023, entries close 4pm Saturday. Cost of the day is $10 per player.

The first Evolution Series tournament was hosted recently and was a big success for the club.

Club president Darren Crispin extended a "huge thank you to all those who helped out on the day".
