Fiji’s household name to woo with the three R’s
INOKE "Knox" Kalounisiga, Fiji's premier contemporary singer/songwriter is a celebrated household name in his homeland.
Knox is famous for his unique "gravel and diamonds" vocal, captivating stage presence and gifted guitar skills honed since the age of seven.
Originally performing contemporary reggae, Knox has evolved his sound into a fusion of rock, roots, and reggae with a twist of soul.
Headlining countless music festivals in Fiji, Knox's musical journey has included playing with the legendary Kevin Borich Express and as back-up singer with Kulture who supported the late reggae legend Lucky Dube and supergroup Boney M.
Last year Knox literally "cleaned up" at the FPRA (Fijian Performing Rights Association) Awards gala night winning four of the six categories he was nominated for including Most Outstanding song, Best English song and Best composition.
Armed with his new EP Fading, Knox is set to break it big time in Australasia as he performs with his five-piece "all star" band at showcases and festivals throughout Australia and New Zealand.
