Editorial - Saturday, October 12: Filled with good cheer

IT'S a bit of a feel-good edition for both ends of the Valley.

Yamba will be enjoyed in all its glory by triathletes and their friends and family, and it's great to see organisers making the most of the weekend by also putting on a Lifestyle Expo.

Then, of course, later this month our Valley will be awash with Lycra once again when the Grafton to Inverell event hits town. Everyone knows our Lycra-clad friends love a latte and we're also quite chuffed to report on a couple of businesses that will meet that need opening their doors.

It's amazing to see local business owners put some faith in the local economy and a recent success story is certainly that of Northside Fruit & Vegies.

I hope their faith is met with support and that, as Mark Saunders told me, their business continues to thrive.

Whether you like Lycra or lattes or a little bit of good news, pick up Monday's DEX to find out what the weekend held.
