Coutts Crossing man charged with firearm offences

A COUTTS Crossing man charged with firearms and robbery offences has been refused bail in court.

Benjamin Lynch, 35, was charged on Wednesday with two counts of robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon, two counts of take or detain for advantage and two counts of firing a firearm likely to cause injury.

He also had a conviction warrant for a historical disqualified driving charge.

His arrest came following a complaint in relation to the discharge of a firearm at a Kangaroo Creek Rd premises last week.

Lynch did not apply for bail, and is expected to reappear in Grafton Local Court on August 31.
