First Aussie review of UK Bunnings sausage sizzle

AFTER Bunnings opened its first store in the UK, this Aussie went to see if its most iconic product - the Bunnings sausage - was up to scratch.

After sampling the sausage - served in the traditional way outside the new store in St Albans, Hertfordshire, Sam Ashleigh said the "wonderfully juicy" snack did us proud.

"I think it's worthy of the Bunnings name," she concluded.

"(It has) nice smoky barbecue flavour."

The new store last week flung open its doors, with Wesfarmers looking to take on British rival Kingfisher.

The Brits seem to be loving the snags just as much as we do
