First steps to join the big relay

IS THIS the year you decide to join the Relay For Life in Grafton?

If you aren't sure what the event is all about or want to find out more, head along to the next team information night on Thursday, February 18 from 6.30-7.30pm at the Grafton District Services Club.

Abby Wallace, community relations coordinator for Cancer Council NSW Northern Rivers, said the meeting was open to all those looking to take part in the big fundraiser.

"Teams are able to pick up their shirts, ask questions about Relay, meet the committee and other 'Relayers' and find out what is in store for the main event," she said.

"As well as the team night, now is also the perfect opportunity to get your teams together and take advantage of the extended early bird rate of only $15 per person, a 25% discount.

"The early bird registration finishes on Friday, February 19, so get in quick!"

Participants can register online or at the team information night.

This year's 18 hour Relay For Life will go from 3pm on Saturday, March 19 until 9am on March 20 at Jabour Park, South Grafton.
