SKILLED sewer Kershur Mills has a passion for fashion and after becoming involved in fitness modelling competitions this year she has the perfectly sculpted body to show off any design.

The 23-year-old Tannum Sands resident, who works at ASN Gladstone and Anytime Fitness Gladstone, has recently set up a room in her house so she can offer specialty designing, dressmaking and alteration services to the community with her business Kershur Mills Dressmaking.

Ms Mills' jobs place her in a good position to continue her fitness competition journey.

So far she has competed for one season, in both the INBA Brisbane Classic and the ANB Asia Pacific's International competitions.

"I have always loved training but competing just involves taking everything to the next level," she said.

Ms Mills said preparing for the competitions consumed her life, and involved training harder than ever before, being strict with her diet, and taking posing lessons with coach Whitney-Rae Freyling.

"I have an amazing coach Tamara Murphy who supported me and believed in me from the beginning and my best friend Tracey O'Keefe also was amazing support so together we nailed it," she said.

Ms Mills now looks to growing her design business, competing in INBA again in September and then spending the rest of the year building her body so she will be even leaner for next year.
