Focus on Grafton snappers

THE members of the Grafton Camera Club snapped up awards at the Northern Zone Photographic Competition in Coffs Harbour last weekend.

Two members gained placings for their photographs - Greg Norman gaining a first place for his large colour print Easy Riders and Dana Simpson third place with her small colour print Windmill High.

The camera club also achieved an additional 10 merit awards while taking out third place in the overall point score for digital images which president Michelle Thornton said was an excellent result for a small club.

A viewing of the award winning prints and digital images, together with the presentation of the certificates will occur at the next club meeting on Wednesday, June 11, starting at 6.45pm at the Grafton Community Centre.

See page 17 of Monday's Daily Examiner for the winning images.
