Fond farewell to class of 2012

CLARENCE Valley Anglican School parents and staff turned out in force to say farewell to its class of 2012.

On the night school principal Tim Grosser said this year's Valedictory Dinner at the South Grafton Ex-servicemen's Club on Friday night was the best he had been to at the school.

Mr Grosser paid tribute to the 19-strong final year which only wound up the HSC exams at the school a week earlier.

He said it was one of the most impressive groups of young people he had taught.

One of the highlights of the night was a speech from school board member Janet Croft who recalled her adventures travelling the globe as a young woman.

School captain Tahlia Goodwin's speech was moving, amusing and inspirational and set the scene for a comic presentation from staff with the audience playing Who Am I? with the identities of the year group.
