Food stalls and family fun at Gate to Plate
TOMORROW is your last chance to sample the best produce on offer in the Valley.
The Gate to Plate Festivale will round out this year's event and committee member Gai Pritchett said the family-friendly event was the perfect way to finish up.
"There's more than 60 stalls inside and surrounding the Barn and lots of entertainment.
"There were a lot of producers who assisted us with the first event and it's a way of showcasing their products to the larger community, and a way for the larger community to participate in Gate to Plate that's affordable for everyone," she said.
Entry to the event is by gold coin donation but Mrs Pritchett said it would go a long way to cover the entertainment - which would run all day and included plenty for the kids.
She said as well as local fare like Big River Milk, there would be producers from further afield and wines from the Granite Belt.
"We are going to have German food and Greek and Moroccan and Japanese," she said.
"We have got fabulous artworks.
"There is something for everybody."
Gate to Plate Festivale is on tomorrow, 10am-3pm at Grafton Showground and Barn.
