YURAYGIR United FC Bears will hold its sign on day at the Wooli Hotel Motel from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, March 4.

The club has started preparations for the 2017 North Coast Football season after a successful 2016 including the NCF Clarence 2nd Division and Under-13 titles.

In 2017 it is anticipated sides will be fielded in Under-6s, 7s, 8s, 10s, 11s, 13s and 14s in juniors, and 2nd and 3rd Division in seniors.

While senior teams play home games at Wooli Sports Ground, junior teams will also have the option of playing at Tucabia.

"All the juniors will be getting a new strip this year to match the senior teams," Yuraygir FC registrar Jake Trevillian said.

"The whole club will be stripped out with the red and black stripes this year.

"We also have the added attraction that people can come down to the beach for a swim before their game.

"Anyone who hasn't already signed up for a club is welcome to come along. We won't turn anyone away.

"We are always pretty flexible with people who cannot get to training in Wooli every week. We are looking into organising a day for seniors and juniors to train in town (Grafton) once a week."
