Four Flames to turn up the heat

THE Four Flames will be looking to light up the dance floor when they perform at the Harwood Hotel on Saturday night.

A covers band with a penchant for easy listening and foot-stomping songs, the Four Flames are lead singer and keyboarder Brenda Cooper and fellow Grafton-based musicians Shane Dixon (vocals, guitar), Doug Wray (vocals, bass), and Graeme McLennan (drums).

Only recently formed, the band already has a wide range of country rock songs, contemporary songs and popular rock songs and tailors the repertoire to suit the venue.

Influences include contemporary artists Sara Bareilles and Adele through to country rock artists like Gina Jeffreys and Jo Dee Messina. Others to have inspired the band include rock legends the Eagles, Dooby Bros, Beatles and AC/DC ensuring the band has something for everyone.
