James Frawley set to chip in for Hawthorn Hawks

STAR Hawthorn recruit James Frawley could make his debut for the premiers tomorrow night after being named in a 29-man squad to take on Collingwood in the opening NAB Challenge match in Launceston.

The former Demon (pictured) joined the Hawks as an free agent in October.

Nicknamed 'Chip', Frawley could line up at fullback in the absence of premiership custodian Brian Lake.

Coach Alastair Clarkson has named 13 players from last year's grand final side in the squad, including Jarryd Roughead, Sam Mitchell, Jordan Lewis, Josh Gibson, Jack Gunston and Luke Bruest.

Collingwood could unveil as many as six new players, including highly-rated draft selection Jordan De Goey.

Recruits Travis Varcoe, Levi Greenwod, Jack Crisp and Patrick Karnezis could also pull on the black-and-white jumper for the first time.
