Free workshops for parents

CRANES Community Support Programs are running a three week course, offering emotional support to Clarence Valley parents.

Standing Strong is a free course which will run every Tuesday between October 23 and November 6.

Local parents who are enduring difficult emotional circumstances are welcome to attend.

Each workshop will address issues regarding self esteem, assertiveness, anger and self care.

Participants will be invited to speak freely and also be encouraged and supported towards building a sense of self after experiencing difficult relationships.

The course will be held at the Community Centre, Treelands Drive, Yamba between 10am and 1pm.

Contact FRSP on 6642 7257 for information and to register.

These groups are part of the Family Relationship Skills Programs.

All groups in the FRS Program are free, funded by the Federal Government to assist families to enhance relationships and ease stress.

Free childcare is available on request.
