Freyah's on shorts path to success

WHEN you think of fashion design probably one of the last items to spring to mind is shorts.

However, young Grafton designer Freyah Howland is set to change the way you think about them.

Hers are more like small artworks, one-off reinvented items using 'secret' techniques developed by the experienced seamstress.

Freyah showcased her sassy Freyfrey designs shorts on Sunday at the Naked Bean in South Grafton.

At the parade were family, friends and fashionistas looking for unique but affordable pieces to wear.

Freyah was really pleased with the turn-out with some pairs literally walking out the door.
