THE team leading the National Road series, Genesys Wealth Advisers, have announced an eight-strong team for next month's McDonalds Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic.
Genesys has a stranglehold on this year's series with 964 points, 374 points ahead of their closest rivals Budget Forklifts.
They are no stranger to success in the Mountain Classic with Nathan Earle riding into the record books last year when taking the 50th Mountain classic.
Number three ranked rider Pat Shaw will spearhead the Genesys team in search of the rich prize in this year's McDonalds classic on the 22nd of October.
With 11 days to go before entries close, close to 150 riders have nominated for the Elite Men, B and C Grade categories for the 228 kilometres trek from Grafton across the Gibralter Range and through Glen Innes to Inverell.
However entries for the Classic de Femme event from Glen Innes to Inverell are light in number and organisers are hoping for a sudden rush.
