Geoff Egan reviews the new HP laptop

HP's are claiming their newest laptop is the thinnest ever made. The Spectre 13 is just 10.4 mm thick - thinner than the Apple MacBook and the Dell XPS13. It might be small but the Spectre is made from premium products including grey aluminium, carbon fibre and a distinct bronze edge.

The Spectre doesn't come with a touchscreen or turn into a tablet - it is HP's attempt at building a high quality laptop that is purely a laptop. And unlike other super thin laptops it comes with a Core i processor - faster than the Core Ms many of its competitors include. Australian price TBA
