Get those biz wheels turning

SMALL businesses can take advantage of high-quality business assistance with the arrival of the Small Biz Bus.

The bus will visit Maclean and Grafton next week, giving local small business operators the chance to access personalised advice from business experts.

NSW Minister for Small Business Katrina Hodgkinson said she encouraged small business operators to take advantage of the practical, localised support the bus offered.

Small business owners can access the support of expert advisers on the Small Biz Bus at no cost to them.

The bus will be on River St, Maclean, in front of the Westpac bank on Monday from 9am to 3pm.

On Tuesday the bus will be at 70 Prince St in Grafton, staying from 9am to 3pm.

Kym Kranen, NORTEC's small business support unit manager for the Northern Rivers, said it was great to have the Small Biz Bus visit our region.

"I would encourage small business people to make the most of this opportunity and visit the bus while it is in town - we will have our advisors on hand to assist with inquiries."

To book an appointment on the bus or to speak to your local Small Biz Connect adviser, phone NORTEC on 1300134359 or visit www.smallbusiness.nsw .gov.au/hop-on-the-small-biz-bus.

Thanks is extended to Clarence Valley Council for their support and for hosting the Small Biz Bus.

The Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner also helps small businesses by providing low-cost dispute resolution services, speaking up for small business within government and delivering quality business advice.
