Get your runners on

TODAY is your last chance to pre-register for the Jacaranda Fun Run and save.

This year's run, which takes place at Caramana Park on Rogans Bridge Rd in Waterview Heights, will recreate the best aspects of previous years.

In 2012 more than 490 runners participated.

The 5km and 10km races will start together at 8am and follow a 5km circuit taking in Caramana Park, Caramana Dr, Swan Hill Dr and Rogans Bridge Rd.

The 10km then heads into cattle country along Friars Lane.

The 2km race starts at 9am and is aimed at families, beginners and children.

Online entry is available. The 2km race is free, 5km costs $10 and the 10km $15. Registration is available on the day and starts at 7am but add $5 to online fees.

Refreshments will be on sale. Trophies will go to winners and medallions to all age category winners. There will also be spot prizes to lucky participants.

Runners and walkers of any ability are encouraged to participate.
