Good, bad, weird... what's your online dating experience?

CHANCES are many people have tried online dating at some point.

The industry is said to be worth $1.49b each year and sites like eHarmony and Match.com have members registers in the millions.

It's believed the average spend per year by someone who is looking for love online is more than $200.

According to dating site RSVP, 1000 new members are logging on each day.

With a growing trend set to get bigger as people become more pressed for time, we're keen to hear your online dating stories from the amazing to the disappointing, to the unusual and quirky.

Did you meet the love of you life?

Or were you besotted by a photo and description only to find out the object of your online affection was anything but like their profile said?
