Grafton ace nets US title

GRAFTON tennis ace Brittany Huxley has continued her winning ways with victory in the Cougar Classic tournament in Texas.

Huxley won the North Coast Open in June before returning to the United States to complete her sophomore year at the University of Arkansas, where she has a tennis scholarship.

Victory in the Cougar Classic, part of the US College circuit, provided Huxley with her first singles championship of the fall season.

She will return home for three weeks during the Christmas period before returning for the spring season which stretches from January 15 to May.

Huxley is currently ranked No.119 in Australia.
